Reyhoon's Mobile App
Reyhoon is a tech/operation startup in the fast growing online food ordering service market in Iran's capital, Tehran.
In 2017, we decided to re-invest on mobile apps (iOS & Android). Since we learned a lot from our recent improvements in our web/mobile platform, we needed to create a consistent and unique experience for our users.
As the lead product designer my main responsibilities were to gather customer insights, generate ideas, building the project vision, planning the scope definition, design execution and validation and also collaborated with the product manager, development team and the marketing team.
Our high level goals
1.Increase user retention.
2.Smoother and more user friendly checkout experiences.
3.Create a consistent and engaging platform.
4.Unifying the authentication method from email to OTP (One Time Pass)
5.Implementing features such as map view, order tracking, search and filter for restaurant result screen.
Order Journey
The order journey helped us to have a better understating of how and where we can make this experience more enjoyable for both customers and restaurants.
Wireframing
As a result of this wire framing process we get clear estimates, visual documentation and directions to work in and every teammate comprehending how an app will work and how components interact between each other.
The main purpose of re-thinking/designing our app was so we could achieve an extremely easy flow that can be used with one hand while the user is exploring the restaurants and their menu.
Outcomes
translated into doubling our review submissions from the very first week of the feature launch.
